Y.Bhg. Dato’ Dr Tan Yew Chong
Dato’ Dr. Tan is the Deputy Secretary General (Water & Management) at the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA). At KeTTHA, his responsibilities include overseeing the sustainable development of water supply and sewerage services industry as well as the management aspect of KeTTHA.
With the main tasks to formulate, implement and review policy directions and regulatory framework on Malaysia water services, he is also responsible for the management sector in the Ministry.
Prior to his current appointment to KeTTHA, he has previously worked in various government agencies and ministries, namely the Public Private Partnership Unit (UKAS) in the Prime Minister’s Department, Ministry of Housing and Local Government, The Ministry of International Trade and Industry, The Ministry of Home Affairs and The Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities.
He has experience representing the country in various international journals of marketing and logistic and journals of business and industrial marketing.
Dato’ Dr Tan Yew Chong obtained a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia.
